We are seeking qualified operators for the Café & Flower Shop and Function Centre at Macarthur Memorial Park (MMP). This is an exciting opportunity for experienced respondents to manage these key facilities at our new world-class cemetery and recreational park located in the Scenic Hills of Campbelltown.
MMP will serve not only as a sanctuary for the interment of the deceased but also as a space for reflection, recreation, and community gatherings. We aim to enhance the visitor experience by providing top-tier services through a welcoming café, flower shop, and function centre.
Contract overview
We are proposing a 5-year contract, with an option to extend for an additional 5 years. The successful operators will manage the café, flower shop, and function centre, either jointly or separately, depending on the respondent’s expertise and capabilities. There is no guaranteed volume of orders or attendance during the contract term, but the operator will benefit from exclusivity for these services at MMP.
About the Café & Flower Shop
The café features an open-plan seating area, licensed for 150 seats (including outdoor seating), with stunning views of the park’s waterway. The glass-fronted design, polished stone flooring, and modern interior create an inviting space for visitors. MMP will provide the commercial kitchen infrastructure, and indoor/outdoor dining furniture.
About the Function Centre
The function centre is a versatile space, also featuring a glass frontage with views of the waterway, seating 300 guests (including outdoor seating). The room can be divided into smaller spaces to cater to different group sizes. As with the café, CCC will provide the kitchen infrastructure and all necessary dining furniture.
This is an exclusive opportunity for an operator who is committed to providing high-quality services in an environment that combines peaceful reflection with the natural beauty of the park.
