Macarthur Memorial Park has been awarded Highly Commended – Community Facility Project at the prestigious 2025 Urban Taskforce Development Excellence Awards.
These awards celebrate excellence across the property and development sector, recognising projects that deliver outstanding value to the community and contribute to shaping better places for future generations.
This recognition highlights the thoughtful, community-centred approach behind the creation of Macarthur Memorial Park – a unique, multi-denominational memorial space that balances beauty, environmental care, and cultural inclusivity. With 35 hectares of open green space, planned walkways, native bushland, and inclusive memorial areas, the park is designed as a place of reflection, remembrance, and connection.
Lauren Hardgrove (CEO) and David De Angelis (Capital Works Manager) proudly accepted the award at the official ceremony in Sydney.
“Receiving this award is a proud moment for everyone involved in bringing Macarthur Memorial Park to life,” said Lauren Hardgrove. “It’s a reflection of our deep commitment to serving the community with dignity, care, and long-term vision.”
As the park continues to welcome families and communities from all walks of life, this award reinforces its role as a meaningful and future-focused community facility.
